Childhood Acute Basilar Artery Thrombosis successfully treated with Mechanical Thrombectomy using Stent Retrievers: Case Report
23-month baby;progressive impairment of consciousness, widespread stiffness, plaintive cry, CTand MRI:multiple infarction lesions in brainstem and left cerebellum. Angiography and Endovascular treatment.
Persistence of an intracavernous aneurysm treated with a flow diverter due to the development of a secondary lumen: endovascular treatment using a balloon-expandable stent.
An intracavernous aneurysm was treated with a FD. At 6 months, there were still flow in the sac and a second lumen around the FD with concurrent narrowing of it. The dilation of the narrowed FD with a coronary stent achieved the cure of the aneurysm.
